I am using the JA Social versão for joomla 1.7

After upgrading the version of Joomla 1.7.5. to 2.5.1
I am completely non-functional site.
Several things have stopped working for example
classification of items by name or access …

I was told that the 1.7 templates are compatible with 2.5. is it true?

and worse …
Once upgraded components with JoomArt Extensions Manager
(Updated JoomlArt only)
I ask all … (access to the site on the administrator and users.)

I had a back up …
With the release of joomla 1.7. I tried to update with JoomArt Extensions Manager (updated only JoomlArt) and again lost everything.

Why can not I update products from JoomlArt?
What is happening?

I renewed my subscription to JATC Standard for one year
to see if this is the problem since it had expired in January, but I think we should continue to work … not?

Does anyone have a light or a tip for me?

It is because the JA Social template is not compatible yet with j2.5.
It has to be upgraded first.
