After installing and using SPOTLIGHT, i notice that there isn’t any padding around the “Full text” like there is on the “title”… for example on

http://www.stephannoack.com/islandliving/

If you hover over my SPOTLIGHT boxes, you will be able to tell the problem… text is all the way to each side, when on the demo it has a little buffer or padding around.

Please help!

Your spotlight box didn’t have padding because you miss <p> tag. Correct is:
<p>Your content</p>
