    Hi Customer,

I just wanna clarify that all of our extensions still do not officially support j1.7 yet. We are in migrating phase, however the time could be not so long since j1.7 does not differ much from j1.6. The devs inform me about JAT3 plugin 1.7 releasing time could be in the next two weeks. For now we do not recommend you to use JAT3 j1.6 templates and extensions with joomla 1.7 as there will be bugs and we can not support fixing all of them in the forum. Please be patient until the release of 1.7 compatible version, we appreciate your understanding.

How about making an announcement on this matter? Joomla! 1.6.5 & all previous versions has a XSS Vulnerability:

    http://developer.joomla.org/security/news/357-20110701-xss-vulnerability.html

So you want that people use a vulnerable version and just wait that you update your templates? >:(

Is it normal to wait 2 or more days for a decent answer on this forum?

    Hi,

We have announced about this on our blog:
    http://www.joomlart.com/blog/news-updates/joomla-17-released-joomlart-upgrades-templates-to-j17
Yes I must admit this is such a delay and the templates for 1.7 should be released sooner, to be ready when Joomla 1.7 is available. But this month we have been busy finishing the templates made for joomla 1.6 as planed. Start from August we are going to start creating templates for 1.7 and in parallel with that, converting old assets to comply 1.7. We are such in a busy transitional period so our apology to you for the late replies, we will try to response to you asap. Thank you.

We do not make announcements about Joomla security, Joomla Security does, and security is really up to the user to be implemented. It is each site owners responsibility to update their Joomla versions. WE are doing the best we can with all the new releases from Joomla to get everything up to speed here at Joomlart.
We have many questions in the forum, some dealing with the basics of Joomla and some more Joomlart specific and we do our best to respond to everyone.
As you know Joomla has released many new versions recently and that has made development a little difficult to be totally up to date in all cases.
We have kept all our customers informed as to the timeline to be expected on all our updates as you can see by Hung Nguyen’s link provided above.
I hope this resolves some of your concerns.
