Well if this isn’t the most confusing thing I have ever seen, I don’t know what is.

I used Quickstart and all of the demo content on the install.

I assumed that the JA Tabs would allow me to show articles from different categories.

In the module manager, I have a module called JA Tabs in User 6 position.

I also have 4 custom modules that reside in the ja_tabs position.

The 4 custom modules are labeled:

Group 1 Stuff, Group 2 Panel, Group 3 Collection, and Group 4 Assortment.

I have no use for the custom modules being shown in the tabs. I need category content in the tabs. So, I disabled those 4 modules. Much to my surprise, there are then no tabs displayed at all.

Next I tried moving the JA Tabs module to the ja_tabs position. That did nothing as well.

I then enabled the 4 custom modules again, but had to also put the JA Tabs module back in the User 6 position for everything to show like the demo again.

It appears that the JA Tabs module does nothing and the 4 custom modules are the only choices I have for displaying content in the tabs module. I even have played with all of the settings for the JA Tabs module… none of those settings seem to do a thing.

What am I missing?

I don’t have a live site for you to look at… sorry.

It is so hard to debug this issue. I think you have changed some code in your files.
For the reason, could you please send me your live url, admin account via PM or submit a ticket so that i could have a closer look on the issue?

Hi,

I don’t have a live URL, but I can assure you I haven’t changed any codes that would affect how it works. The problem was evident when I first tried using the JA Tabs after using the Quickstart.

Sorry I can’t provide the url. It will be awhile before the site is live. If I am still having the problem when the site goes live I will post the info at that time.
