    Hello, I’ve been using JA-Tabs successfully in Edenite template in a couple sites. I’m now using the JA-Ores” template and I’m experiencing a problem that I can’t seem to cure.

    I’ve copied over the successful code from an Edenite site to the Ores site. It’s very uncomplicated. When I save in Ores, Joomla! adds a bit of code that become visible on the front end . See here: http://posportalhr.com/index.php/forms-a-documents

    Here’s how the code begins when pasted:

    <p>Use the menus below to view and download forms and documents.</p>
    <p>{jatabs type=”modules” module=”archiveload” position=”left” widthTabs=150 mouseType=”click” animType=”animMoveVir”} {/jatabs}</p>

    Here’s what it looks like after saving:
    <p>Use the menus below to view and download forms and documents.</p>
    <p> </p>
    <p>{jatabs type=”modules” module=”archiveload” position=”left” widthTabs=150 mouseType=”click” animType=”animMoveVir”} {/jatabs}</p>”</p>

    Weirdly, I do not have this same problem with the exact same code in Edenite.

    Any ideas how to get around this? It would not be a big deal if that </p>” wasn’t visible on the front end.

    Thanks for any assistance.

    Do you switch HTML mode by click Toogle Editor?
    Simple way is that you login backend > Global Configuration > set Editor is Editor (None). After that, you paste the code again and save.

    Thank you. Just about the time you were responding I finally figured this out. Your solution was part of the solution. But even with no editor, it was still adding a quote mark at the end. I resolved this issue by going to:

    Article Manager > Options > Text Filtering and setting Super User to “No Filtering”.

    Thanks for your response.

    Hi!
    Is there any other solution to the problem? When using this method in the CB fields, after updating the CB code is distorted!

    Sorry to response lately. But I don’t see anything is abnormal. Could you give me a snapshot with your comments to illustrate your problem.
    Note: what is CB fields and CB code?

    Ja Tabs inserted in the field of the text editor in the CB and before upgrading CB looks like this…

    but after the upgrade CB so…

    Ask a question on the forum CB, but no answer yet. Probably, they think: “Ja Tabs – what is it?”
    😀

    I think you ask CB forum your problem. Because I tested it on your website. I tried to edit a article and it works normally. But I edit CB field, it have problem as you said. Both article and CB field use TinyMCE.
    Your problem doesn’t relate with JA Tabs.

    Here’s the reply I got on the forum CB:
    <blockquote>It looks like you’ve some sort of “JA Tabs” type extension installed that’s rendering those tabs. They’re certainly not coming from CB as they’re not structured HTML wise like CB tabs. Please review whatever extension you’re using to render them. Perhaps the HTML you used that the extension picks up on is in-correct? I recommend contacting the developer of your extension for further support.</blockquote>
    I paid for CB and JA.
    I Think that this problem – the problem of compatibility of CB and JA, and such problems are found in other cases.
    I believe that both the developer should work together to solve this problem.
    Thanks.

    The problem is solved.
    It was necessary to change Substitution + Ja Tabs in CB Content module.
    For Example,

    {jatabs type="content" position="top" height="auto"}

    ]

    ]

    {/jatabs}

    The same code can be inserted in the CB delimiter.
    Now Ja Tabs work perfectly!
