Hi,
I’m just about done with setting up the template, but the Ja-Tabs part doesn’t show properly on my site. I have followed the user guide setup, but I only have text showing on the user 5 position. There are no separate overlapping boxes.to recap: I’ve done the below and the two articles show fine, as do the titles but no border, no box and there are no further instructions in the user guide relating to this. Help?
# JA Tabs module: Please follow these steps to create JA Tabs like demo
<blockquote> From User Guide * Create a new module position named: jatabs (follow this guide to create module position)
* Using Custom module to create two articles: FASHION TODAY and TOP 10 MODEL, publish these modules on jatabs position.
* Install JA Tabs module and plugin
* Publish JA Tabs plugin
* Go to JA Tabs module parameter: put on user5 position
* Set parameters: Type tabs: Modules and Select a position: jatabs (that means: modules on jatabs position will be displayed on JA Tabs module).
*
* Now, your JA Tabs is similar to our demo
</blockquote>I think I’m missing a step that isn’t in the guide.
Any advice/help/suggestions would be appreciated.rhand Friendrhand

January 28, 2009 at 8:33 am #288580What class did you give your tabs module? Maybe you didn’t style it properly. In Joomla! admin you can add a class to your module. Maybe the module is published in the right position, but lacks css styling because of the missing class.
January 28, 2009 at 9:42 am #288591Hi,
I’m not sure which class to add. That is what is missing in the user guide.
I thought the user guide applied to template downloads as well.January 29, 2009 at 11:37 am #2887991. I don’t know why these details can’t be added to the user guides.
2. It would be nice to receive a response from the very people who either design the templates. I’m still with a non-working feature.nibu Friendnibu

February 7, 2009 at 12:26 pm #290025Can someone with the quickstart installed tell us what module suffix combination is required …
I have plugin style set to quatz but currently i have the actual ja-tabs module with no suffix as per the userguide.
I see the tabs but they are not styled

February 8, 2009 at 5:14 am #290078Obviously everyone is having too good a weeknd to reply 🙂
The missing info to style the tabs in ja-tabs is:
(drum roll)
1. Set plug-in to default
2. In module ja-tabs got o Advanced Parameters and choose tab style = “quartz” and in the bottom option – colors = “0:hilite2,1:hilite1”I hope that helps. I had to install the quickstart just to find out but now hopefully you won’t.

February 9, 2009 at 11:41 pm #290333For future reference it is quicker just to look at the demo page and do a view source. All the modules are well highlighted in the source code and most times it only takes a few seconds to find what you are looking for.
In the case of this the code.
myTabs1 = new JATabs("myTab-1020080781", {animType:'animNone',style:'quartz',position:'top',width:'100%',height:'auto',mouseType:'click',duration:1000,colors:'0:hilite2,1:hilite1',useAjax:false,skipAnim:false});
}Contains all the info in from the demo page.
