February 28, 2014 at 5:03 pm #195321In Teline 2 (Joomla 1.5) a Related Article tab in JA Tabs (User 6) doesn’t display when not on a single article page. How do I setup the same behaviour on TelineIV?
See:
http://www.globalprintmonitor.info/ (Teline II)
http://217.199.187.59/tecsa.com/joomla2/index.php/en/industry-news/analogue-printing (Teline IV)
BTW: It doesn’t show on Homepage as Related module is not assigned to Home.
JA Tabs is using this script:
{jatabs type=”module” modulename=”mod_fj_related_plus,mod_articles_latest,mod_articles_popular” position=”top” widthTabs=”” mouseType=”click”}{/jatabs}

March 3, 2014 at 3:56 am #524982When I checked the module “Articles – FJ Related Plus”, assign it to position “mast-col-2”, it does not show any thing in front-page.
Please check the module again.*

March 3, 2014 at 12:06 pm #525086Hi MoonSailor,
You may have missed that I said it was not assigned to Homepage. It’s the only page that I can un-assign it in the usual way.

March 4, 2014 at 7:52 am #525205You can see the module “Related (JA tested)” which was cloned from module “Related”. It was assigned to this single page http://217.199.187.59/tecsa.com/joomla2/index.php/en/industry-news/analogue-printing and it does not display.

March 4, 2014 at 11:51 am #525279Hi MoonSailor,
I agree I see no related items which is at it should be on a category blog view. However, I don’t want to see the “Related” tab heading too, on such pages. I do want the Latest tab to display its contents.
See: http://www.globalprintmonitor.info/index.php/en/industry-news/analogue-printing
Notice that the Latest tab is open, i.e. A list of the latest[/I] articles is displayed.
Then click on an article to see the “Related” tab appear.This is the behaviour I would like to replicate in JA Tabs for Teline IV.

March 5, 2014 at 2:56 am #525359@timtecsa : You use this declaration to load 3 modules inside the tabs:
{jatabs type="module" modulename="mod_fj_related_plus,mod_articles_latest,mod_articles_popular" position="top" widthTabs="" mouseType="click"}{/jatabs}
By default, the plugin does not check the content of modules, it only checks whether module is “published” or “assigned to menu”, then it gets module title as “tab heading”, module content as “tab content”.
So, when module “Articles – FJ Related Plus” is published and assigned to menu:
http://217.199.187.59/tecsa.com/joomla2/index.php/en/industry-news/analogue-printing
it always displays the module.
<blockquote>
I don’t want to see the “Related” tab heading too, on such pages. I do want the Latest tab to display its contents.
</blockquote>In this case, with the page http://217.199.187.59/tecsa.com/joomla2/index.php/en/industry-news/analogue-printing, you can duplicate module “JA Tabs” and load 2 modules mod_articles_latest and mod_articles_popular only, then assign to that page.
