JA Tabs plugin is available for J1.6, but where is the module? I’d like to use it in a module position.

Is there a workaround until the module comes out?

Dear @joomlagraphic,

For joomla version 1.6, we did not upgrade ja tabs module. However you can use ja tabs plugin in a module position, please do as following:
– Create new custom HTML module in module manage page.
– Insert custom tag of ja tab plugin on content of module

doesn’t seem to be working. I’m using a new version of artisteer 2.6 template for J1.6. I can see the custom HTML mod title on the homepage, but the tab slider and its content isn’t showing up.

if this is module then how can it determine to insert articles using just this call?

My guess is that I need to use some sort of “article_ids=” tag

Dear @joomlagraphic,

If you want to show slider on tab, please change your jatabs custom tag, change “ajax=true” to “ajax=false”.
Yes you can use


type="articles" ids="8,9,10" //to insert articles in to jatabs
