Hi,

I would like to load a gallery plugin inside a tab, so far when I do this (using Simple Image Gallery PRO plugin) the tab is not shown, I guess there is a conflict with the bracket because the plugin also uses { }, the code I have looks something like this:

<blockquote>{jatabs type=”content” position=”top” mouseType=”click” animType=”animMoveVir” }

{gallery}private_tours{/gallery}

Hi @orsat,

The simple image galerry plugin work only on content of article ( in content need has custom tag {gallery}..{/gallery} ). Please insert your code in article content. If tab don’t work on frontend, please edit “jwsigpro.php” in folder “pluginscontent” edit code as following:
Find this line code and remove it.

If your problems don’t resolve, please provide me your website infomation ( admin user account, ftp account ), i will check and give you solutions

Hi,

Thank you for your help, I will try your suggestion and let you know if it works. Somehow I dont think that this is a mootools issue. Could it be that the problem would be the same whatever plugin I would try to call inside a tab because plugins are called with brackets and I guess that the conflict lies there.

I really dont care what plugin I will use, I just want to load a gallery from a folder in one of the tabs, I have over 50 articles with Ja Tabs and a plugin that can load images from specific folders will make it so much easier.

If you have a gallery plugin that works with Ja Tabs please provide link…

Hi @orsat,
you can use japopup plugin to show images from specific folders for ja tabs module. To use japopup for ja tabs try as following:
– Create custom module, assgin to one module position as “ja-tab2”.
– Input custom tag of japopup as


{japopup type="image" content="images/stories/demo/gallery/gl-1.jpg" width="700" height="380" title="Sample image" }<img src="images/stories/demo/gallery/gl-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Sample image" width="100" />{/japopup}

Hi @thuanlq,

I really appreciate your help to solve my issue. However, creating a module is not a good solution. I already have over 50 articles with Ja Tabs and there will be more. Having 50 and more modules to display gallery’s is not something I would consider and updating would be a nightmare.

What really is needed is a simple plugin where I can specify the name of the folder in each article and the plugin would take care of the rest. There is a conflict when using brackets inside tabs, so my main question is if there is a way around this. Maybe something for the JA Team to consider, a simple plugin to call images from specific folders that would have no problems displaying in Ja Tabs.

Anyway, thanks for your help, and I would love to hear more suggestions.

Dear Joomla Developers,
I Have an issue for 2 weeks. and i m fed off now. joomla plugins and modules are making my hairs off. plzzzz plzzz help me out of here.

Issue:

I Configure
PHP, My sql and Joomla on IIS 7.0
BY Akeeba Backup, I run it on my IIS 7.0.
Everything Works Fine. But JA TABS are not working, showing Code.

JA TABS are working with modules with Background image and Shadow effects.
When i paste the code in Article. it works Good and show Tabs. but in modules, it shows CODE on the PAGE and effects works fine.

Please help me out……….!!!
