I wanted to modify the JA Tabs for use in other templates other than a news site.

For example, I replaced the heading “News Flash” into “Reflections” so that instead of news, the section would now contain revolving “quotations”.

1. Default component
Is it possible to modify the JA Tabs so that the instead of “Latest News” (renamed as “Latest Additions”), it will be the “Reflections” that will appear as default when a visitor opens the page.

2. New component
Instead of the “Hitite Phrase”, whatever that means, I want to replace it for example with the contents of the “Frequently Asked Questions” (FAQ). I was trying to find a way to integrate the contents of the FAQs so that they would be included in the JA Tabs. How is this done.

3. JA Tabs as a space saver

Is it possible to clone the JA Tabs, call it by another name, and then integrate the new and independent JA Tabs B in the layout, e.g., of the JA Teline template — to contain other features?

JA Tabs as a space saver might be used to integrate more components and yet use only a small space in the template. For example, other components that might be included in separate JA Tabs B would include latest forum entries, latest Shout Box entries, etc.

3. JA Tabs as a TOC of major sections

A modified JA Tabs may be used also to include the latest contents of other major sections, mostly as headings, unlike the way some they are presented for example, in the “JA News” module.
