    Hi

I have installed the tabs plugin and the module, and set the tabs module details in as shown in the attachments and then i installed content slider, yet this only shows on the template if i set it to content-bottom not if I set the position to ja-tabs. I have now spent 4 hours trying to get the tabs to work and I have given up. How the heck is it supposed to work as I have never managed to get any ja tabs to work with any templates as the instructions are so poor.

Please explain to me in simple terms how to set the JA tabs up as they look at the bottom of the JA Travel website.

    Many thanks
    Ol

    Hi ollyjk,

As you said the Tabs module wont show up if you set it to show in ja-tabs position, since ja-tabs position is not available in this template. You can see all available positions at http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_travel/?tp=1 If you set the Tabs module to show in any of the positions you see at this link, you should see whatever content you are trying to show.

Another thing to be noted is in the first image you have attached, the mod_jatabs is set to publish in ja_tabs position, as well as you have selected to show the modules which are published in ja_tabs position (in Module params > Select a position). These 2 positions have to be different, else you are trying to display the Ja tabs module in tabs, which is not going to work.

For any help with setting your site like the demo you can refer to http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/userguide-ja-travel-template-for-joomla-1-5/

Hi – thank you! I have managed to get the tabs showing, however how do I get them looking like the tabs on the demo (ignoring the image sizes for now as I can sort that) , what’s the theme used on the plugin or have I missed something?

    Kind regards,

    Ol

    Hi,

Glad you can see the tabs now 🙂

I am sorry I didnt understand what exactly is your question. I dont see much difference in the demo and your image. If you can provide your site url and explain your question again, I can help you better. You can provide site url at http://support.joomlart.com/index.php?/Tickets/Ticket/View/75606

It was the layout of the tabs, in your demo you have a different theme/look to the tabs in my image I wondered what I needed to do to get that? In your demo (i have attached a screenshot of the look of your tabs) they look slightly different to mine….I just wondered what the settings were to get them looking like the demo 🙂

    Many thanks,

    Ol

I see there is a difference in the tab title styling in your image and the travel demo.. If you can provide your site url, I can tell which styling exactly is not getting applied in your case which is there in demo or vice versa.. I havent come across this issue yet so will need to check the site before I can suggest any solution.

    Hi,

Please define ‘_tabs’ class to the mod_jatabs module published.. That should show you the module as shown in demo template.
