I wish to congratulate Joomlart Development team for JA Teline.
This is by far the BEST template ever. Grid based development should stay for ever. No doubt.
I was looking for something like this for a long time. I tried all the other templates in my web site and never had a ‘fulfilled’ feeling until JA Teline.

The are some of my comments/expectations:

1. In the JA News module, can I just have the header section and not have the categorys listed at all?
2. Why should the header module display only front page items? Can we specify a particular section from which the header module display the contents?
3. How do we specify the order in which the content items are displayed in a section?

Hope these are easy changes to make.

Also, in the demo for JA Teline, there are a bunch of modules displayed in user6, user7 areas? What are these modules and how do I get them?

Thank you very much and again congratulations to the team for the superb template

Hi Sam,
Thank you for your nice comment. Please find my answers for your questions below:

You could disalbe the categories listed by setting value 0 for parameter “Columns”

You could display JA News module in any pages as you want (like other modules, choose displayed pages in Pages/Items parameter).

You could specify the order of categories in Category ID parameter.

Those modules are content (or custom) modules.

Thanks. This worked.

I guess I did not explain my question well. The Header module only displays content items which are published to the front page. Is there some way I could specify on Section from which all the items can be displayed, even though they are not published to the front page?

How do I get these modules?

Thanks

Click on “Modules – Site Modules”. You are now in the section where you have all your modules. Click on the “new” button on the right top menu. You can then create your own module. Or of course, you can also make a new module using Dreamweaver or any other texteditor at hand but that would require some deeper knowledge of Joomla. 😉
