Hi,
I’m installing the JA Teline JA News and JA Frontpage module into another template.
For unknown reasons, the Frontpage (lead article) cannot stay on the same level as the headline if I have a left or right sidebar.
It may be easier to look at the demo page here:
Note that JA News is at the top, but JA Frontpage cannot load until the left sidebar is finished.
Anyone got a clue to resolve this?
Cheers,
Nick

Hi Nick,I’ve not be clearly yet, I still couldn’t see the issue. Can you re-explain kindly for more detail or post a snapshot with some notes on it?
Thanks,

I fixed it myself eventually. Or rather I *think* i fixed it, because i do not fully understand the CSS.In mod_janews_fp.css I changed the following:
#ja-zinhlwrap {
clear: both;
}To this:
#ja-zinhlwrap {
}Which did the trick, and now the module is positioned properly just as it’s supposed to on the link above…

The problem is from HTML code in one of the article or may be from all displaying on the front-page. The HTML is missing the close tag of the div
For example, you can create html code of the article like this:
<div>
INTROTEXT
<hr id=”system-readmore”>
FULLTEXT
</div>However, when displayed in the list: only these code are showed:
<div>
INTROTEXT
<hr id=”system-readmore”>
the missing tag is breaking the layout.Now access your frontpage articles one by one and check / fix them
try to re-edit with this format:
<p>
INTROTEXT
<p>
<hr id=”system-readmore”>
<div>
FULLTEXT
</div>2) i found a new issue on your site: you used the text from MS Word for you site (copy / paste from MS word), => you should not use those text because MS Word html is different from website ‘s html and contains many dirty codes, you can check the Mesut Ozil : Humbja ndaj Barcelonës shumë e rëndë article.
Please clean it up. -
