    If you are developing locally on your own machine and not on the web, videos do not show up.

    Try it on a live server.

    Same thing happened to me.

    cheers

    The text in the right column of the news area is showing up bold here: http://www.nolchametier.com. Any ideas how to change this in css?

    thanks but i have another question – I downlaoded teline 11 for joomla 1.0 and I have the following in my ja_vars1.0x.php. I cannot see a way of setting the colour

    # BEGIN: TEMPLATE CONFIGURATIONS ##########
    ####################################
    $_params = new mosParameters(”);
    # Change the width of the template
    $_params->set(JA_TOOL_SCREEN,’wide’); // wide, auto
    #font size default
    $_params->set(JA_TOOL_FONT,3);
    # Choose your prefer Menu Type
    $_params->set(JA_TOOL_MENU,’split’); // split, moo, css
    # Joomla menutype used in main navigation
    $_params->set(‘menutype’,’magazine’);
    # Show user tools
    $_params->set(JA_TOOL_USER, 2); //0: disabled; 2: enabled

    # Template Logo
    $_params->set(‘logoType’, ‘image’); // image, text
    $_params->set(‘logoText’, ”); // used if logoType is text
    $_params->set(‘sloganText’, ‘Your slogan’); // used if logoType is text
    # END: TEMPLATE CONFIGURATIONS ##########

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks
    John

    No, everything is ok in your var.php. Matter of fact is, that there are no more colors. You have to set the colors in the module ja-news as it is described in the userguide. Same procedure in J1.0 as in J1.5.

    The Parameter-File /templates/ja_teline_ii/params.ini is Unwritable!

    I am unable to access this on the server. There is a red X on the icon and a message that says:
    F: /usr/www/users/pred/smoker/templates/ja_teline_ii, Access to that file has been denied.

    I need some help please.
    Thank you,
    Jim

    Did you try to configure the parameters in extensions – templates – site – Ja_Teline_II? If this do not work, you may change the file permissions via ftp.

    It is restricted from ftp as well. My ftp client will not let me access the directory or change permissions.

    Support from web host replied back to me with this regarding my problem:

    That directory is owned by the username nobody, which is the username
    which Apache uses to create files. Your username isn’t able to do anything
    with nobody’s files, and vice versa. The way around this is to have Apache
    create files with your ownership, using PHP wrap.

    http://www.pair.com/support/knowledge_base/authoring_development/system_cgi_php-
    cgiwrap.html

    I can also change ownership of this directory and its contents to your
    ownership, if you’d like.

    I must have not set my backend up properly before uploading.

    hi Thanks for the reply. How can I set one default colour for the site, for example green? I have some menu links that are for components and these return to the default colour. How can I set this element?

    thanks
    John

    Only possible in J1.5: Extensions – Template Manger – JA_Teline_II – Parameters – Color variations.

    Hi I have installed joomla 1.5 and ja teline 11 v 1.4. On the template parmeters the only option for colour is the default colour. Have I missed something here?

    I want ot set the site to be one colour throughout- deepblue
    Thanks
    John

    No. Go to /templates/ja_teline_ii/css/colors. There you find a file theme.css – it is for the default color of the template, but it’s empty. Just rename it to maybe theme_css and rename the theme-deepblue.css to theme.css.
