The stock and weather modules are not the most critical actually. The stock and weather modules may be added anytime in the future. In fact, many sites may not need them at all.

The most critical would be the JA News2 and JA NewsFrontpage issues raised by a number of members. I hope Joomlart had been focusing on them.

They are. The category arranging in JAN2 was only realised before 1.3 was due to be published and it is after holding things up a little. Hopefully with 1.3 everything will be stable and work as intended.
