Hi guys,

I upgraded the from joomla 1.5 (http://www.kurd.se) to 2.5 (http://www.kurd.se/jupgrade)
Then I uploaded the template, modules and plugins..
But I have big problems with the modules, I can’t get the news in the frontpage, I’m trying to make it the same as the old site.

Could someone please help me out here?

Hi kurdse,

May I know which modules you cannot publish in the frontend? cause I tried to publish JA New Featured module in content-top position and as you can see now, it displays well. Please make sure that you assign modules to a specific module position and then assign to pages you wanna display in menu assignment section from backend

Hi Saguaros,

I can’t see JA News Featured modules active? I’m looking at http://www.kurd.se/jupgrade ?
All of my articles are up but none of them is shown in frontpage.
JA News Pro Module
JA Twitter Module
JA Ticker News
JA Bulletin
I can’t see any of these in frontpage. See attached image how it looks like.

Dear kurdse,

When I visit your site, it displays error: Database connection error (2): Could not connect to MySQL.

This error message generally means that your Joomla’s configuration.php file has either the wrong database name or database username. Please check these 2 values in configuration.php file and make sure they are correct:
