October 4, 2011 at 4:38 pm #416805Hi
Currently the template is compatible with K2 v2.3, later versions are not tested yet. I will check with the team for update plan.
Thanks
Viet VuOctober 19, 2011 at 5:09 pm #420260Just installed K2 v2.5 on my Teline4 1.7 and the menu, the s1-l the content-top do not work… can you let me know when you will support k2-v.2.5 ?
October 19, 2011 at 8:37 pm #420304K2 2.5 (stable version) has just released. We must wait until Joomlart’s Team works on a update of their plugins and templates.
Good luck ! I just hope the update for the use of K2 will not take too long.
PS : Sorry for my English.
October 19, 2011 at 11:13 pm #420327oh well… that is the least of my worries… is not only that is not working while the K2 is enabled.. but even after uninstall the site is crashed… good I am just testing and messing around… trying to learn stuff… I hope nobody with a live website will try to install K2 now!

This is exactly why one should not feel such a compulsion to rush out and install the “latest shiny new toy” immediately when it comes out. Rather, allow a little time for any potential bugs to be discovered and worked out.Rest assured . . . in due time, the JA Devs will be working to update our K2 related elements with the J1.7+ compatible K2 component.

October 20, 2011 at 4:05 pm #420515And how exactly would somebody know about this, if is not announced anywhere? As developers, you guys are up to date with all happening in joomla community… but I had no ideea K2 v.2.5 is so new on the market and not supported…
Does anybody know when Teline 4 will support K2 v.2.5? ETA?
…as a [recommendation] : since K2 is such an important component managing the volume of articles in Teline_iv template, a QuickStart with K2 included should be available.TomC ModeratorTomC

It was announced on the K2 site. And again, it was only just released three days ago . . . and as K2 is not a JoomlArt proprietary product, it is not necessarily something we would feel a compulsory rush to make an announcement on/for.@vieriuflavius 277358 wrote:
Does anybody know when Teline 4 will support K2 v.2.5? In answer to your question – there is no available “time frame” at the moment for when our J1.7 templates will be updated with the latest version of K2 – as it also involves including the additional design and coding for each. I have little doubt, however, that our JA Dev Team has a plan in place. In the interim, there is certainly nothing preventing anyone from installing K2 into their J1.7 sites and designing various elements they want/need.
