Does anyone have problem upon installing the template onto new installation of joomla 1.5.22 where when you go into back-end admin panel you can not save any information that has been changed in the template configuration.

its strange after every apply i get the message information saved, then refresh the page and info resets to default on all options.

Please ensure to clear your browser cache for changes to reflect. Also, See to have params.ini file writable

Having same problem. New Quickstart install but backend confirguration doesn’t save settings, though it says it has. Have cleared cache and params.ini is writable. Any other suggestions?

    Hi,
Nothing to see. All I’ve done is install Quickstart on my localhost. Installed without a hitch, but when I try to set the menu for dropline, it says this setting has been changed but leaves me on Mega Menu. It doesn’t matter what changes I make to the menu settings, they always revert to to the default Main Menu which is set for Mega Menu.

    1) you try to disable the FTP mode inside the Global Configurations => Server Tabs
    2) Access the administrator site in the English language

    Pls try to check again

    thanks

    Hi,

FTP is already disabled, so I still have the problem. Any help much appreciated, as I want to use a dropline menu and this seems to be the only way I can set that option.

    Hi rbeste,

Do you also get any error message after you click on apply ?

    Hi,

No error. It simply doesn’t save the setting despite saying it has. I see another thread has been started by a user with the same problem but he’s getting a javascript error. I don’t get that error.

    Hi,

Discovered that if I change settings from CPanel it works. For example, from CPanel I can set dropline menu and it’s implemented and saved. It’s the backend settings that don’t save. Hope this helps in finding a solution to backend problem.
