I’ve decided to give up on integrating K2 into this site and just use the Joomla core system. Now I need to figure out how to change the article layout. I’d like to be able to put an image centered at the top of an article instead of on the right as it is now. In the editor, I have my test article laid out the way I’d like it, but the system turns it into the same default layout. Which files do I need to look at to change that?

    Hi

Try to use your editor to align the image to center and check if in the html there’s some css call for the style if is so delete it and leave only the html code of your editor.

It’s actually ignoring the code I’ve put in (float:left) and instead making all images default to a thumbnail on the right side of the article with the text SAMPLE IMAGE underneath. You can click and the image will enlarge in lightbox, but I don’t need this functionality. I just need the images to display as I’ve built them into the article. I’m wondering if there’s a feature I need to toggle off somewhere but I can’t figure out where to start looking.

If you disable the Ja-Thumbnail plugin or remove from it the category where your articles are showed you will have control on your image

Perfect! Thank you SO much. I searched everywhere I could think of, figuring it was a module or plugin. That fixed it! I can’t wait to launch this site!
