March 9, 2011 at 8:19 pm #380571It probably means the folder where the script is trying to create the resized images is unwritable by the script. Please go to help>system info>directory permission from your joomla admin panel and check that all the needed folders are writable.

March 9, 2011 at 9:13 pm #380577Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. i have checked the permissions and all is fine. however i have found a folder in images called resized which seems to be causing me the problem, but i cannot change its permission (755) to 775 because its ownership/group is apache/apache and all my files are myusername/psacln and do not know how to change it to my ownership.

March 9, 2011 at 9:16 pm #380578Well done on finding it.
If you have root access then you can use the chown command, sometimes you can also do this from cpanel. If you do not have root access then you will need to speak to your host so they can do it for you.

March 9, 2011 at 9:56 pm #380592Take a look through this thread and see if any apply to you – http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=925466
We know the module works as hundreads of installations work fine. I am quite sure it is a server related issue. Have you tried enabling the ftp layer in Joomla?
