Joomla has just released new version 3.1 and we are testing and upgrading templates to this new version. Once done, we will be releasing them soon.

Hi dionf,

It is quite a pity that I can not promise specific time of the release. The most important thing here is that if your site can run stably with Joomla 2.5 and it adapt with your need, it’s not a must upgrade to Joomla 3.0. Since Joomla 2.5 will continue be supported until December 31st of 2014 and you can update directly to Joomla 3 once it’s tried-and-tested thoroughly by other users. You can even wait until Joomla 3.5 released and get a direct upgrade.

The main web site still says it only supports Joomla 2.5. Also, the title of the page in the demo you gave says “Newspaper template for Joomla 2.5” Can you confirm this is for 3.1? and If I purchase it, am I able to download the template for version 3.1?
