Hi there,

i have used the quickstart install for the Teline 1V joomla 1.6 version and the sample data install. The homepage has loaded correctly with the demo data however, when i click on any of the menus and links they do not open. I get an error message that ” Oops! This link appears to be broken.”.

i have reinstalled over and over again and i still have the same problem. Please help!!!

please check Global configuration, uncheck “use mod_rewrite”, this is due to you host curretly does not support url rewrite.

Hi, I tried your suggestion but it still did not work. Any suggestions?

Hi again, I found the solution……….. I had to actually enable the mod_rewrite but after doing that i needed to rename the htaccess.txt file as “.htaccess”. when i did this it started working fine.
