    Hi

    two short questions:

    1.
    I`v installed the JCE and JK Editor Plugin and I am able to select both tools in the global config and also in the user related one. But if I do so there is no toolbox when writing oder modifying an article.
    What have I missed to do?

    2.
    The Quick Start Package contains the Joomla 1.6.0 version. Can you pls tell what exactly to do for an upgrade to 1.6.3.?

    Thx
    Andreas

    I downloaded the 1.6.3 package for the update and uploaded all the extracted files to my server. Now, when I try to open my website this error comes up:
    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘……../includes/defines.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php5:/usr/share/php’) in ……../index.php on line 19
    How to fix this issue?

    Thx
    Andreas

    Hopefully you did a backup first?

    There is a specific upgrade package that you should use to upgrade from 1.6.0 to 1.6.3 which can be downloaded from here – http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/frs/?action=FrsReleaseBrowse&frs_package_id=5881

    Restore from your backup then use the upgrade package.

    I did it again (good to have a back-up;-)) and now it works 🙂 – with 1.6.3. also SOBIPRO now works fine which was not the case with 1.6.0….
