Hi all,
I have installed ja teline iv for joomla 2.5 on my locahost using the quickstart folder. Everything seems to be OK except the images for articles and other modules which are not showing; only the size of the images are displayed. see attached file below
For example on the front page instead of showing the image of the article ‘Joomla 2.5 template wins the play-off, ‘ the size of the image ‘400 * 266’ is shown. I checked the image folder in my joomla installation , there are no images only image sizes.
Is this a normal behaviour with the joomla 2.5 installed from quickstart or has anything gone wrong with my installation or download?
Note that the installation of ja teline iv for joomla 1.5 works fine.

Please help!

Greetings:

The reason for the image placeholders in the JATC Templates released since the beginning of 2011 is due to image licensing requirements/restrictions that changed around that time. As such, JA was forced to substitute image placeholders within the quickstart+sample data installation packages in place of the sample images you see within the demo versions.

JA did their best to create the placeholders with corresponding height/width dimensions as those utilized within the demo – should you wish to upload your own custom images and size/configure them accordingly.

Appreciate your understanding in this matter.
