Hi all,
i have a problem with the frontpage moules JA News (position: ja-news 2) and JA News Frontpage (position: sl1-l) when i enable the jomres search module, both modules mentioned before dont work anymore.

Here is a screenshot:

How can i solve this problem? I am sure it has to do with the used java scripts.

Also another thing with JA teline only i think so far, i have gotten the following error when having JA Featured News and Newsticker on activated along with Jomres
“Fatal error: Class ‘JModel’ not found in public_html/modules/mod_janews_featured/mod_janews_featured.php on line 38”

i think there is collision somewhere which i cant figure out atm, dunno if JA Frontpage is made with NOCOLLISION or not.

I am not a coder nor a java expert, but i think it has to do with jquery and each module loads its own jquery, but i didnt find where i can disable this.

since weeks i am waiting for an answer… but nothing… most of the JA templates do have this problems but no one seems to be interested to solve this. At February the 2nd, i gave a guy with name Don Lee the admin details of my website. I have never heard anything from him again. The support on here is ridicolous.

we are really sorry for the delay, since this is a compatible issue of ja modules with external modules, the debug process may take more time, I’ve forwarded this to our devs to investigate and have proper solution. i did write you emails, to let you know what i have found out so far, but no reply whatsoever. i am very patient .. since a month, this template looks great, but only if you dont add anything to it, but the java script conflicts are not only relating to this template, i have tried a couple of your templates and almost each one does have those problems. and i am really wondering if you would be so patient?

try turning off the cashe in the mod_javanews2 under the advanced parameters – set = no cashing.
