Hi,
I have the JA Teline V template and use it for http://www.prwave.ro where I need to publish some gif banners. However, using the banners module (I have one on header-1 and in the sidebar), I CANNOT publish gif banners – aka they are not showed on the website.
I also tried to install a new extension – thinking that maybe it will show gif banners – FlexiBanner – but it doesn’t show the gif banner either.
I really need to have gif banners published on the website – not only .jpg or .png… – but also animated banners.
How can I do that?
Thanks,

March 7, 2016 at 10:21 am #895986Hi
I did not understand the last reply from you .
is the banner working on all other parts except header ?
I checked the site and found there is no banner published for header module > http://prntscr.com/ac8l71
could u replicate the issue on site with module details so i can check it .March 7, 2016 at 11:55 am #896053Hi,
gif banners are not showed ANYWHERE on the website. not the top banner, nor the one in the sidebar appear. Nothing, No gif, as ONLY .jpg banners appear on the site.
I’m attaching 2 printscreens.
a) bannerextension top – as you can see the default banner module IS installed and published and activated for the header-1 position (it showed a .jpg banner).
b) a file called banners where you can see the banners in the component. ALL of them, the ones in the sidebar and header. NONE of the gif banners are shown on the website. There is a
webit _ lateral – which is is gif banner for the sidebar – not shown on the website, though it is published… and there is a webit 2016 general – which is the top banner – you can easily see their location in the photo or admin. As I said, no gif banner is shown on the website. I hope I managed to explain more clearly now the issue,
Thank you,
Loredana-

March 7, 2016 at 12:28 pm #896075Hi got your point but to confirm the issue , its needs to be checked that it works in default Joomla template .I saw you removed all the default joomla templates (Protostart/beez3) . This is what i suggested in first post , kindly test your banner images with default Joomla templates and share the results its showing with default template or not . Because there can be issue from Joomla as i tested same banner in my localhost on Teline V
and it working fine > http://prntscr.com/ac9nj0 -
