Teline is the best template for news websites that has existed for joomla … but needs an update to version 5 (image responsive) .. my favorite Teline 4 (modified) is that http://www.cfin.com.ar … much using the module “mod_news_pro_gk4” of GabickPro, ideal for news websites module (best for that)… and another that would like to see as Teline 5 is http://www.theverge.com (use google translator)

Pretty sure that was a typo . . . probably meant to say Teline IV.

Teline V has not yet been developed/released.

Did you check out the update Teline IV which runs with new T3 framework? This updated TelineIV supports responsive layout and inherits all new features of new T3 framework.

For Teline V, I’ve reported this to team for further consideration 🙂

Any rumours on the release date of Teline V ?

We’d love to see several options available of dropline menus for Teline V , It makes navigation simple, clean and fast. visitors will spend less time trying to find their desired content and more time reading content, vital to any news website I would say.

Good examples include

I’m afraid that there is no news for Teline V at this moment.

Did you try with JA Teline IV, it also has that dropline menu as you’re mentioning. Go to download page of JA Teline IV template here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=3408 and build it with quickstart and config the menu like as my screenshot.

the long-awaited ja teline v is coming along smoothly, right now our ja team has already started working on it. If nothing unexpectedly happens then ja teline v is going to be released as december template for sure.

When JA is ready to announce a “more precise” release schedule/date for Teline V, they will do so.
