First what template change did you make, details please.
Second using I.E 8, on Windows 7 at 1920 x 1080 I see no difference to FF 3.56 – If you are using another version of I.E other than the latest (I.E 8) please tell us, most of us always keep browsers up to date, unlike clients.
Third, we all get frustrated when it doesn’t work, but there is no need to “shout” (CAPS)

May 27, 2010 at 10:46 am #344914Didn’t know I was shouting with the caps on. 🙁 I’m not an regular chatter to know this.
I hav made the following change in the template.css
/* HEADER
——————————————————— */
#ja-header { z-index: 0; position: relative; }
The z-index: 0; should be 10 instate of 0
to see if I could get my logo to the left.This change has cost the header of the template to get totaly explodid.
I have changed it again to the normal settings but it keep sowing on IE
I use IE version 8
And again sorry for the frustration.

The z-index of an item does not position it left or right but brings it forward as in layers, this is helpful with things like menus to have them display over background images flash modules etc.
I’d suggest changing it back to default first, and see if that changes your problem. If not then I’ll do my best to assist you further.

Dutchbizz, can you give me a live url, I will then be able to view the code etc and see where your logo is positioned and see if we can re position that to the left as you tried.
Cheers Shannon

Hi Dutchbizz
lets look at the logo first, shall we? If you haven’t made any changes to the template.css for the logo position, lets make your new logo the same size as the teline 3 logo?
In what ever image editor you use, change the image size to 260px × 62px, if you wish I can change the graphic for you.Now looking at the home page of your site I see a large gap after the flash animation in the ‘auto’ section. Could you please remove that flash item and see if that solves the large gap, which I assume is your main problem? If this is NOT your main problem please identify it for me.
Cheers Shannon
