August 25, 2011 at 5:43 am #408308I donot see any further activity on pm.joomlart.com (ticket tracking management) after July 25th regarding this issue. Can someone responsible from joomlart update on this.

August 27, 2011 at 4:32 pm #408953Hi asifak,
Our dev has done some progress ( still testing although ) and i can see that the problem in tabs is fixed ( or at least almost fixed that’s what our dev and you will have to confirm but i couldn’t reproduce it the last hour again).
I am following up this until it’s finally resolved so please stand by and thank you for your patience.
Regards
Manos

August 28, 2011 at 5:40 am #409076Hi pascm,
I have reproduced the problem in JA Tabs also. Attached please see the pic (in the right below corner todays date is also shown).
Plugin System-cache was disabled. I enabled it to 5 minutes, then problem started to reappear. This was me who initially informed that if system cache plugin is reduced to zero value then problem starts to disappear. This is not the solution. JA template must work with this plugin.

This is happening because in that way you have 2 cache systems enabled! The build in one (which is also enabled on modules in order to reduce queries and increase speed) and Joomla system cache plugin… well as i have already mentioned on my former reply our dev is still working on this but i think from my side that this is the issue here.
Besides, with JA build in cache system you get much more speed on your site and reduce page load time. Otherwise you have to disable build in compression system and cache from every module/plugin on your site since plg_system-cache is not capable to handle those files, and in my opinion is not working faster or better.

Manos
Update: As JA Teline templates are quite robust and complex it is advised that joomla cache plugin or any other similar plugin except the build in one should remain disabled.

August 29, 2011 at 7:32 am #409339Dear pascm,
Just to mention here that I had disabled cache option available within JA-News2 module already, infact two months back. In such situation, as per your explanation, no cache is working for this module at this moment. However, I donot find cach configuration in the module configuration for the JA-Tabs.Manos ModeratorManos

August 29, 2011 at 7:41 am #409343Dear asifak,
As i have updated on my former reply, you must not use joomla cache plugin, the only cache system that’s working as it’s supposed to, is the build in one. You can enable this from template settings. Also you can enable the build in compression function to achieve even better performance on your page load time!
