July 10, 2011 at 9:40 am #166135I am using Ja Telline IIIV2:
Ja-popup plugin works well when used in a JA-Tabs and will show videos from youtube. However, when following code is used in a article, which works well in JA-Tabs, then whole template is disturbed such as JA-News2 and JA-Tabs shifts much to down (altogether frame / template broken)
Following code :
{japopup type=”youtube” content=”http://www.youtube.com/v/GVouSi0cY1U?hl=en&fs=1″ width=”750″ height=”440″ title=”Stages Of Pipeline Construction “}<img src=”http://img.youtube.com/vi/GVouSi0cY1U/2.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”Stages Of Pipeline Construction ” />{/japopup}

July 14, 2011 at 12:51 pm #401157Well, Thanks!
My site information is already with Joomlart and they are working on the issue http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-telline-iiiv2-module-disruption-of-ja-news2-and-ja-tabs/. ‘nguoiabcd‘ from Joomlart is coordinating to resolve this issue.

July 14, 2011 at 4:02 pm #401187Did you notice in another thread ‘Column Glitch?’
It is posted recently, and the result of this problem is same as I have reported for the JA Popup Plugin.himangi Friendhimangi

July 15, 2011 at 7:45 am #401260Hi,
I see everything is working fine when the particular video you have mentioned above, is being displayed.. JAnews2 and other JA tabs module than the Videos tabs, are exactly where they are published. I have attached a screenshot for your reference.

July 15, 2011 at 10:07 am #401288Well thats not true !!
Did you try above script I have given in my earlier post of this thread. I think When you opened the webpage there was no script.
Now I inserted ja-popup script in Article No. 13 under the Article manager. Now what happens is described here step by step.
1) When you open webpage first time then the problem occurs. The result is shown in the attachment. Even the JA-Tabs has disappeared. (In such case other problem which I have stated in other thread ‘JA telline IIIV2: Module disruption of JA News2 and Ja Tabs‘ does not happen)
2) I have set system cache plugin to 5 minutes. Within 5 minutes when you refresh the page again , then this japopup plugin problem will disappear and other problem ‘JA telline IIIV2: Module disruption of JA News2 and Ja Tabs‘ will appear.
In summary, both of these problems occur alternatively. By the way, article which I am using for testing of this is ‘System tech new’. You can read it in the ‘JA-News2 under the ‘system’ categories.
Interesting right !!! (it looks I am testing engineer for joomlart. Joomlart should pay to me !!!)>:(:-*

July 15, 2011 at 10:59 am #401297Hi,
I am sorry, I am not sure what is happening. I compared your video popup syntax with the syntax specified in demo, and I dont see any difference. Can you please tell me what was the syntax you were using when I checked the site and it was working correctly?
Also after loading site for the first time, I saw the same page as the screenshot you have provided but after refreshing the page, nothing changed.. I am seeing the same page..
Can you please tell me what the difference is in the code, then I can investigate again. Fyi I havent come across this problem before, and everything has been working fine with the popup videos..

July 15, 2011 at 1:05 pm #401330I informed earlier that perhaps when you browsed the web page first time to see then there was no script thats why you did not find any problem. I am using the same code as provided in my earlier post and it is same as demo. It is again here for your reference.
{japopup type=”youtube” content=”http://www.youtube.com/v/GVouSi0cY1U?hl=en&fs=1″ width=”750″ height=”440″ title=”Stages Of Pipeline Construction “}<img src=”http://img.youtube.com/vi/GVouSi0cY1U/2.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”Stages Of Pipeline Construction ” />{/japopup}
By the way I have deleted this ja-popup script from the article No. 13 othewise it will confuse the people who are working to resolve the other issue raised by me in other thread (‘JA telline IIIV2: Module disruption of JA News2 and Ja Tabs‘ ). If you want to see again then I would request that please login, put the ja-popup script there and test it and delete this afterwards.
One more thing, as I described in my earlier post of this thread, this thread and (‘JA telline IIIV2: Module disruption of JA News2 and Ja Tabs‘ ) may have something common issue.
cheers!

July 16, 2011 at 6:08 am #401380Hi asifak,
The {japopup ….. }{/japopup} code you have placed in the module is the only code you need to use to have the popup functionality as per my knowledge. Everything else is taken care by the JA Popup plugin which you have installed and enabled.
I am referring to http://demo.joomlart.com/extensions15/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=162&Itemid=137 and it doesnt tell you add any popup script separately with the syntax for displaying popup images / videos, so i am not sure which script you are referring to.. Please clarify.

July 16, 2011 at 8:34 am #401400ok, lets put it other way. I want to popup a video in a article. My steps are:
1) Open Article manager and relevant article.
2) Toggle editor
3 paste the whole following script at the required place within the article{japopup type=”youtube” content=”http://www.youtube.com/v/GVouSi0cY1U?hl=en&fs=1″ width=”750″ height=”440″ title=”Stages Of Pipeline Construction “}<img src=”http://img.youtube.com/vi/GVouSi0cY1U/2.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”Stages Of Pipeline Construction ” />{/japopup}
Now, please inform whether above steps and script are ok. Have you login into my site ? Can you please do it for one of my articles.
Thanks!himangi Friendhimangi

July 16, 2011 at 9:00 am #401402Ok I was getting confused due to the word ‘script’ 🙂 I will take a look at it but can you provide the superadmin access instead of admin access. It will be easy to investigate if I can check versions of extensions and change templates to see what happens with the JA Tabs module with various settings.

July 16, 2011 at 12:31 pm #401421Hi Asifak,
Yes I have the ftp access but I need superadmin access to joomla backend. The current access you have provided is an admin access which does not allow me to check the version of the JA popup plugin and reinstall it if required, without that access I can only play with the module which is not of any help at this point. Kindly provide the superadmin access so that I can check the issue.
