When I click on the image in the item view, it opens up a popup. Then when I click close the popup, it just freeze the web page. It only happens on the FIREFOX and GOOGLE CHROME

Pavit is right. I tried in FF and Chrome too and no problem. Try clearing your browser cache, history and the cookie.

Yes Sir
I have done exactly this ,and at this point i think that you have problems in your browsers
Try to do as suggested by Swissa clear your cache and check again
