Hello,
The thumbnail plugin in JA Teline IV works perfectly, however, I found that it only works for images SAVED in the same server as the site. For affiliate images (external images) the plugin dosen’t work properly for images “linked” from another source.
One example is the following:
http://digitallifetrends.com/index.php/computers/computer-news/peripherals/305-cheap-printer-inkThe image in the ‘Latest News’ in the menu not showing!!!!
Another example:
http://digitallifetrends.com/index.php/software/software-news/operating-systems/153-what-fresh-windows8Any solution to this?
Actually I want to include affiliate codes for image banners withing the articles. How can i do this without disable the JA Thumbnail plugin?

You can manually disable JA Thumbnail for specific article which contains affiliate images by adding this {jathumbnail off} tag into content of that article
Checkout JA Thumbnail user guide for more details: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-thumbnail-plugin-for-joomla-2-5-userguide/

December 20, 2012 at 11:41 am #476929I saved all the images in my server and works ok but now i have another problem.
I create an article which has one image and one banner image (stored in my server) at the END OF THE ARTICLE! In the homepage JA News Featured and in the top menu (JA Bulletin Module) the first main image is skipped over in favor of the second image which is the banner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Note that i include the jathumbnail off images option for the banner image.
I cannot understand why this plugin has sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many bugs!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot go live if this problem continues……. I do not want to say that it was a mistake that I bought this template!!!!!!!!!!!!!
December 20, 2012 at 8:18 pm #476981Something new…. Since i store all banners to my server i tried to use the banner module in order to create various sequences of banners, then i create banner modules and i tried to insert those modules within the articles.
The {loadposition x} is NOT WORKING WITH THE JA THUMBNAILS!!!

December 21, 2012 at 6:46 am #477041I am sorry for the problem issue you faced with JA Thumbnail plugin. But i’m not sure what you are implying. Just for better clarification you can make to me the screenshot, configuration from back-end site and problem front-end. How can i duplicate this error on your site. I shall help you out of it.
