Hi,

The Ja Thumbnail plug in doesn´t resize in category blog view. It does work fine inside article view.

The JAEM do not offer an update for the plug in.

I do use Joomla! 2.5.6

Can someone help?

Hi Sascha,
JA Thumbnail plugin version is now 2.5.3, hope you have the latest version.

Please check in Plugin JA Thumbnail to see what if Thumbnail For Page sets to All Category Blog and Feature View, by go to Back-end >> Extensions >> Plugin Manager >> Click on JA Thumbnail, see in Thumbnail for Category Blog Layout.

If yes, but your JA Thumbnail still not working, then please send me your site info (URL, admin acc, and FTP info)

Hi Luna Garden,

I downloaded and updated the plugin by hand:

The plugin “Content – JA Thumbnail – vesion 2.5.3″ is successfully uploaded to local repository.
Go to ” Repository” to see the uploaded files of this extensions.

But the JAEM still did not mention 2.5.3. If I try to upgrade the plug in with JAEM it said:

Errors occured during upgrading, please fix them fist
MySQL path is not configed
MySQL Dump path is not configed
Local repository path is not configed

In Plugin Manager the settings seem to be correct: Category Blog & Feature View. But still no resizing:

Hi Luna Garden,

I guess I figured it out.

If it is not working, it is not a category blog – it just looks exactly like one but it is something else and the image won´t be resized.

With this problem, please go to Back-end then open configuration page of JAEM >> Hit Save. Then you will able to upgrade now.

And about your Plugin JA Thumbnail, it’s just you haven’t clear your cache, so new config is not updated. I clear your cache and it works now. Please check a new item menu using blog category, but after changing anythings please clear your cache.
If you still got the problem, feel free to ask.
