Today JA Thumbnail has stopped creating thumbnails on articles pages and category list pages. But on frontpage (JA News Featured, JA News – Default Layout etc.) images in new articles are cropped and thumbnailed as earlier.

On pages with category list and articles pages in all new added articles with images and in all older articles edited now (images were untouched) images are in their original size 🙁

In modules like Most read, Newest articles, images are thumbnailed as earlier.

In the same time, our editor has changed its interface – take look at picture.

    Any ideas what happened?

    Hi

That is Jce editor and has been enabled like Default WYSIWYG Editor in your global configuration in the backend

If you have problem disable it and set to No Editor

Yes, I konow that this is Default WYSIWYG Editor – as I’ve mentioned, we were using it from the begining. It is TinyMCE. We want to use WYSYWIG editor but in its look as a few day before, not as now. And the most important thing – we haven’t changing anything with setting for default Editor. In configuration panel still it is TinyMCE, but now with different interface.

And what about JA Thumbnail? Do You know why plugin has stopped working? Any ideas what went wrong and what can we do now?

Did you see my post in your other thread?

The change in the editor look is simply a setting in the TinyMCE plugin. Go into the plugins page and select the TinyMCE plugin. In its settings on the right you will see the editor mode. You are currently set to “Extended” mode. Change it to “Advanced” mode to see your editor as it was before.

    Victory!

I have opened Plug-in Manager: Editor – TinyMCE. And there were option Functionality. It was switched to Extended. This is why interface was different than erlier. But… I do not know who or what has made this change.

As I said in my other thread, I think I did that when I was working on your site. Sorry.

Having said that it does add some very usefull buttons.

It would not have an affect on your JA Thumbnails problem though. Can you post a screenshot of the settings you have for that plugin?

    OK. No problem.
I haven’t seen Your post earlier.

I will send you a screenshot soon.

    Thanks.

Phill, here are screenshots. One with JA Thumbnail settings – for me they are the same as earlier. The second one is with Extension Manager: Discover. There are some files. When I was trying to install them there were a error message…

I assume the blue bit in the thumbnails settings says “All Categories” in Polish? If it does then everything looks correct. Try clearing all your Joomla and JAT3 caches

Yes, – Wszystkie kategorie – in Polish is All Categories in English.

I have cleared all Joomla and JAT3 caches yesterday, but of course I can do it once again.

In Joomla’s installation folder there is a TMP folder fill of files and subfolders. Is it safe to delete them?

Your site appears to be working fine now. Is the thumbnail stuff working OK?

    No 🙁

I have edited one article and now in place of thumbnail, there is 1:1 image.
