I have my products uploaded and set up pricing but I don’t see where to go to assign the API for my authorize.net accout to the Joomshopping cart.

March 26, 2012 at 4:32 am #445648Greetings Wendye:
Is this a particular addon plugin or extension for the Authorize.net payment gateway? If so, were there instructions provided along with the extension as to how to configure it properly with the JoomShopping cart for/in Joomla?
Without knowing the exact method by which you are integrating Authorize.Net into your JoomShopping configurations, I have seen some other similar/related issues like this where the problem was to set the “Type” field in the configurations of the Authorize.Net payment to “Other website payment”.

March 26, 2012 at 5:22 am #445653Thank you for responding. I don’t know which method to use to connect my authorize.net merchant account with the Joomshopping cart. If I don’t assign a merchant account how does the Joomshopping cart process credit card payments? I don’t want to use paypal. I don’t know where to find a module or extension that I can use for the joomshopping cart. I know their is an extension for the virtuemart shopping cart but that doesn’t really help me.
Im currently using a godaddy quickshopping cart and when I configured that I only had to put in the authorize.net API and one other code and it was done. I wanted to upgrade my site to a joomla site with a cart in the site so that I don’t have to redirect people to another site. Being new to Joomla Im on a pretty steep learning curve, but I’m up for the challenge. So can you give me some advice on how, i mean the basics lol, what do I need to do to connect my authorize.net account, in any way, to the joomshopping cart?
Thanks again for responding.

As JoomShopping is a 3rd Party component – I am thinking you may have better luck finding information/guidance specific to JoomShopping within the JoomShopping Community Forum
In fact, the link above is directed to a JoomShopping Forum thread specifically with regard to Authorize.Net.
Hope That Helps
