I would think that it is possible to use any Joomla compatible shopping cart component with JA Tiris. The thing you will need to do manually, however, is configure your chosen shopping cart component’s parameters and styling to fit within that of your JA Tiris based site.1 user says Thank You to TomC for this useful post

March 1, 2012 at 7:58 pm #441171Yes! Thank is what I have been trying to figure our at the moment. I am in India and need some payment options which was not possible with joomshopping, at least without paid help and support. German and me is not going to work, especially at the learning stage I am.
I an trying to figure out how to uninstall joomshopping without messing my site. I have already had to reload joomla once, so hope I don’t mess things up again.
Thank you for your reply.:)

How far along are you with your site development? Are you at a relatively “beginning” stage where it would not be too much of a pain in the neck to start fresh with a new/clean install of JA Tiris . . . and then try another shopping cart option?
As you may or may not be aware, other Joomla compatible shopping cart options include . . .
as well as some assorted others that can be found within the JOOMLA EXTENSION DIRECTORY

March 1, 2012 at 8:15 pm #441182On Joomla extension directory Virtuemart does not show for joomla 2.5.
I am an absolute beginner, but have been learning for some time now. This is my foiirst site, and I have been practicing for some time now. So installing and uninstalling is always a clean one. I have the backup module but I just keep going on, because this is the only way I think I can figure out where I go wrong. This is my own site, that I am creating so I am not really in a very great hurry. LOL;)
Ayelshop (opencart) has the best feedback, support other than hikashop on the joomla forum, but again only the paid version had options I needed.
very few payment gateways accept INR pricing, so I went ahead with ayelshop.I will send my url and access via PM to you, if thats ok, and you can please let me know if its ok.
I would really appreciate it.Thank You

Well, I am not very familiar with Ayelshop . . . but I can certainly take a look at basic configurations for you – if you have any specific questions and such.Incidentally, VIRTUEMART 2.0.2 is compatible with J2.5.
🙂
