I have upgraded my joomla 1.5 site to 2.5.1 using the jUpgrade tool and installed the JA Tiris template on it. But for some reason this template gives me a “HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.”. Switching back to the joomla default template brings back the site. What would be the possible cause for this?

Note – Im on local host

There could be loads of reasons. Have you looked in the logs to see what the actual error message is?

Have you installed the JAT3 plugin and activated it? Have you installed the correct version of the template?

Hi thanx for the help but apparently there was an error on the upgrade itself. I used jUpgrade and that has caused this issue. I went on with a manual migration and everything worked well.
