November 27, 2011 at 3:27 am #171131I have installed the JA Social 1.7 Quickstart and love the Top Panel. Is it possible to change the title from Top Panel? Whether the Show Title is Show or Hide it always displays Top Panel for me.
Thanks

November 27, 2011 at 3:38 am #426638Hi cohibadad!
Have you seen the backend settings and tried to adjust accordingly?
We have a great tutorial on the JA Social and it has also info on the Top Panel settings.
Add a link for me if this info is not of help.
Thanks!cohibadad Friendcohibadad

November 27, 2011 at 10:56 am #426702Hi Blaine,
Yes I have seen the backend settings as well as the tutorial and the video on Top Panel. I have not seen the Title of Top Panel adjusted in any example so I didn’t know if it was possible. I thought changing the Title in Backend Settings for the Top Panel module would change it, and the tooltip seems to indicate it should, but it has no effect. I also noticed the show check box “Don’t Show Again” setting has no effect and there is another post in the forum with a solution to this problem.Blaine FriendBlaine

January 6, 2012 at 3:33 pm #432786Hi Blaine,
I had to find this link via Google as the actual User Guide does not seem to contain any links to this information. Sure would be nice if the User Guide was a bit more user friendly and linked to such information which would result in fewer support thread requests for this kind of info throughout it. 🙂
