    Hello all,
Found this lovely template and want to change the menu to a drop down menu. I follow the instructions but nothing happens. I’m quite sure the problem is me, but what am I doing wrong?

I changed the prefix to a “2”, uploaded the file index.php to templates folder but nothing changes on the menu.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Pleaze help me,
    Lisa

    Hi,

there must something els wrong. I’v tryed all that. Is there an option in adminstrator modules to change menu to drop down?

I’ve added a section and then categorys, should they not appear as drop down?

    Best regards

There are no admin options, except for building the mainmenu items and giving them parents. You only talked about sections and categories. Does one of your categories’ menu item have a parent menu item belonging to a section? An empty top level has nothing to drop down to.

That’s the problem! I’m very new at this and don’t know how things works. Is there a “walkthrough” somewhere here that explains how to make a drop down?

    Regards

Hi – the one I used was http://www.netshinesoftware.com/joomla/joomla-tutorial.html but another good starting place is joomla.org. PS my site uses sargas too.
