September 11, 2014 at 4:49 am #201229Dear JA,
Prior to renewing my expired JATC membershiip with a view to purchase the ja-travel template, please would you give your views on the following:
1. Is it compatible with Joomla 3.3 ?
2. Is it a “responsive” template ?
3, will you still provide support for it (under Joomla 3,3) ?
4. If not supported under 3.3, what is the recommended upgrade for joomla from my joomla 1.5.15 site ?
5. What would be the closest you have for a travel website that’s T3 ready ?thank you
Colin

Please find my answers to your concerns below:
1. No, JA Travel is only compatible with Joomla 1.5, Joomla 2.5 & Joomla 3.1 for now.
2. No, it’s not a responsive template.
3. Since JA Travel hasn’t been upgraded to be compatible with Joomla 3.3 by us officially, we may not be able to provide support if you try to manually upgrade the template yourself and break the site in process.
4. You should upgrade your site to either Joomla 2.5 or Joomla 3.1
5. We’re releasing a brand new responsive travel template using T3 next month actually. But if you want a template to use right away then feel free to go through our responsive templates gallery at : http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/tag/responsive to find a suitable design.Hope that helps.

September 12, 2014 at 4:55 am #549257Thank you both very much for your responses. I look forward to seeing the travel themed template next month. Meanwhile I’ll be upgrading to 3.3, probably with purity-III applied.
