February 15, 2014 at 5:59 pm #194823Hi JA Team,
I need help to trim the JA Mendozite without loosing functionality or appearance. I am able to install the quickstart, delete articles, modules and components but I am having difficult maintaining the slideshow module on the frontpage and the demo content. Please let me know if JA Tweak plan can do the following work order
About Us
• One page consisting of information about the history, mission/vision of the organization.
• The page uses the typography of the template to highlight certain sentences such us mission/vision statements
• The page uses a picture to highlight the work of the organization
• This page will appear on the top main menu next to HomePrograms
There are four programs the organization is running at the moment. They are
1. Farming
2. Fishing
3. Environment
4. Capacity BuildingEach Program will have a separate category for its activities.
• Each category will have a slideshow highlighting its roles and responsibilities
• Left-menu with the following links
o About the Program (a page)
o News items (four place holder-pages)1 leading story
3 earlier stories- [*=1]Image dimension for leading story (220 x 140)
[*=1]Image dimensions for following stories (220px × 140px)
[*=1]Image dimensions for body of the article 690px × 260px
[*=1]Images should use the built-in thumbnail plugino Resources (a page)
o Events (Link to Calendar Component)
o External Links (4 links that go to partners website)• Each article page should have twitter, facebook and linkedin Social Media to easily share content
• Remove K2 and all that is associated
• Remove all un used modules and components
• Use theme GREEN and adjust its to CSS to grass Green #006600I look forward to hearing from you.

February 17, 2014 at 10:25 am #523004Hi Abdul,
What you have listed is a full site development and is way beyond the scope of tweak. Under Tweak we will consider only one task per tweak order. What you are looking for is a website builder, you should be posting your requirement on the freelancing sites, try joomlancers.com to start with.
Regards
Arvind

February 17, 2014 at 1:12 pm #523015Thank you Drarvindc. I understand I my requirement might seem too long because I like detailed specification. I have submitted one project to Joomlancers.com and will see how it turns out.
While I waited for your response, I already did all the basic work such as the articles, the categories, menus and graphics. Please confirm if JA Tweak plan will assist with the following
– Automatic resize of pictures for the front page items and body of the article 220 x 140 and 690px × 260px respectively
– Slideshow on the front page which is not working properly for this template
– To adjust the CSS to Green #006600The site will be maintained by someone who is not a graphic artist and we need to keep it simple and looking clean.

February 18, 2014 at 7:49 am #523146Hope my answer below can help you somehow:
It depends on the type of menu item of your website frontpage. If it’s a category blog page, you can try with JA Thumbnail plugin – which will help to resize automatically image of article.
May I know which JA template you are using? You can try with JA Slideshow Lite or JA Slideshow module.
You can make change easily by using Google Chrome inspect element or Firebug for Firefox. What I usually do is set Compress CSS in Template manager to No, then hover on any HTML element and right click on it > then click on inspect element. This helps to show which CSS class it is using and which CSS file and the path to this element on the right side. Then you can go to the file and replace it with your new CSS rule.
You can also post your site’s URL here and send me screenshot highlighting the part you want to change, I will give you further suggestion.
