    Hello,

I had to disable the JA-Twitter module because it didn’t function any more because of the new twitter api.
I see that there is a new version, v 2.5.7.
I want to use it in my JA Kranos template, but how to download this new version?

    regards,

    webmastergol

Yes, it has been updated to support the new api as has the JA Social Feed plugin. Please use the JA Extension Manager to update to the latest release.

All JA Extensions can be found in the normal download area. Just look for your template where all the extensions that came with it will have been updated. Better still, explain exactly what you are having problems with regarding JA Extension manager and we will be glad to assist you in getting it working.

I did that, but as you can see, in the download section (http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=20429) the version of the module is an older one (2.5.3) and the last version is 2.5.7.

And in the Ja Extension manager when i try to upgrade using local service it says something like “no upgrades avalaible” and when I turn the service to “Joomlart Updates” appears: “Response from JoomlArt Updater Service: Your account does not have enough permission to take this action. Please contact “JoomlArt Updater Service” for more information or use another account.
    Upgrade failure”

    Hi Nsca,

<blockquote>”Response from JoomlArt Updater Service: Your account does not have enough permission to take this action. Please contact “JoomlArt Updater Service” for more information or using another account.
    Upgrade failure”</blockquote>
This error warning message meant you need to configure Update service manager with your JATC account in the backend of JAEM component. You can follow below document to update these settings : http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Extensions_Manager/Admin_Panel

    * Remember to clear JAT3 cache after saving changes.

    Hi nsca,

Can you compare your Twitter module configurations with our userguide to find out the difference ? Please send me PM with the admin login of your website if this problem still persists.

    Hi nca,

Can you try to set No caching in Caching (Advanced options) of JA Twitter module’s backend ? And clear JAT3 cache & Joomla cache after saving change. The tweets must display then.

    Hi Daniella,

It seems there is an incorrect configuration in the Twitter module on your website. If possible, can you send me PM with your website’s credentials ? So that i can check & make the Twitter module work fine.

Note: You can see the Twitter module works fine on your JA Kranos demo site, the tweets appear continously now.
