Do we only change the twitter screen name or must we change the Oath settings as well?

I have read all of your documentation and looked and looked and looked. Set up API Keys, re-verified name, checked module, checked updates. It is not working.

Hi @holmanresearch,

Please edit the thread (first post), choose Require Help From Staff + Mod/Admin? then provide your site url with temporary admin account there so I can check this matter for you.

Hi @holmanresearch,

Thanks for the info, yes you will have to change the Oath settings as well. Because the default settings is from public account so there’s a high chance that account bandwidth limit exceeded and you won’t be able to get your Twitter timeline. More detail can be found here.

I did everything in your docs several times. I read some other forum comments on this and changed the twitter name three times and even regenerated the Oath two times. It is not working.

Hi @holmanresearch,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I discussed with development team about this matter and look like it’s a bug in current version. I raised a bug report so our dev team can check and fix it, please stay tuned.

Hi @holmanresearch,

I’ve just updated file modules/mod_jatwitter/TwitterAPIExchange.php (this will be included in next version) and it works fine with my Consumer Key, Consumer secret, Access token, Access token secret ( Twitter Screen Name : joomlart ).

Please recheck all auth info and make sure that your Twitter Screen Name is correct.
