Hi,
I’ve just updated the JA Typo plugin to version 1.1.0 and I now get the following error on my site:
Undefined variable: javersion in pluginssystemjatypojatypo.php on line 38

Hi,

I have installed the new JAT3 Framework 2 for Joomla 1.7(2011 version) released 12/08/2011 and I am getting the same error messages: –

Notice: Undefined variable: javersion in D:wwwsitesj17_t3pluginssystemjatypojatypo.php on line 38

and

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in D:wwwsitesj17_t3pluginssystemjatypojatypo.php on line 38

Line 38 of pluginssystemjatypojatypo.php is: –

if($javersion->RELEASE=='1.7'){

I have searched the content of all files in the installation directory and cannot find anywhere where the variable
$javersion
is defined.

So I presume this is the problem! However, what I would like to know is what is the solution?

Looking at line 38 it would appear to be checking the version of Joomla?

If this is so, $javersion is not a valid variable for Joomla release (short version)

Can someone please verify this?

Hi, thanks for this it appears to have resolved the issue.

Now to do some testing of T3 Framework 2 for Joomla 1.7
