I have uploaded all the Joomla 2.5 files onto my server but during the setup process, I am unable to get pass stage 4 – SQL Database. I have checked and double checked the SQL Details.

I don’t get any error message, it just will not go pat the SQL Setup page.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Can you install default Joomla package in your server?

If yes, would you be able to pm me url, database info for further checking?

hi, i have exactly the same problem kinldy help me out as i am running out of time in order to setup the site and am also setting up it on local server i can congiure and setup couple of other quickstart packages for other templates even. quick help is highly appreciated in this regard

@sheeraz_mughal: I have just downloaded JA University Template here and install following our quickstart installation userguide, I did not encounter the problem you mentioned.

issue resolved on my host however the installation just does not work on my localhost while using xampp 1.8.x, it continiously
shows the processing icon while installing DB and never gets after this step. Anyways seems machine or xampp centeric issue not the script related. thanks

This is link technical requirements. You need to check xampp application or you can try to install wamp application. Hope it helps.
