looking at the demo for UT II there are a few different ones what version of FW are you using FW 8 imports smaller psds well, it has problems on larger 6 mb etc files I can’t convert logo for xenia as my system is only 1 gb ram and spits on a 7.4 mb file PSDs are way bloated compared to pngs

As I use FW CS3 beta 😀 I can import big files without losing layers & stuff, there still is room for improvement, but that’ll probably be added in a future release.

Without breaking my NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) FW 9 has improvements esp at a commercial/professional level.
In my opinion adobe want to make it friendlier to current psd users and try to make it a mini psd in some ways I think as a fw user ps should be made more like fw hee hee and PS should be made have an option to output as native FW pngs!!!! this has been logged as a feature request hee hee

any probs you have with psds under 7 mb!! PM me and I’ll convert for you
