The main problems is that the top header does not display at all and module ja header does not display and images are not seen and do not rotately correctly.

May 28, 2009 at 6:08 pm #306051Is there a conflict with the corner peel you have added, Could you try to unpublish it and try to see if this fixes your problem
May 29, 2009 at 2:42 am #306074Dear mfcphil
Thanks for your reply, we have now removed the page peel but this did not fix the display problem with the top header image not showing and the ja header module not loading and rotating with the ja villadi theme
The site still displays correctly in firefox 3, ie 7 and flock though. Any other advice?
Still looking for a answer for this, thanks for your cooperation
May 29, 2009 at 5:03 am #306084Dear All,
We managed to fix the problems with display in IE8 on our site, it was the ie8 compatiblity mode issue that effected other joomla sites
It was the IE 8 Stable Bug fix outlined in the general questions of this forum that gave the answer
For our site with the ja villadi template, putting the bug fix code to force ie7 emulation BEFORE the head tags in both the index and index2 php files for the template was the solution to make the site display correctly in ie8.
Please close this thread as solved, thanks to all.

Hi,I tried all the fixes for villadi and IE 8, and still doesnt work. Your message above says you got it fixed based upon other information here. I could not find what you are referring to on this site. Can you PM me or post a link to the actual fix you used?
By the way, I tried putting the fixes before the head tags and still not working.
Thanks
