    Hi all thanks for stopping by!

    My name is Mark – I’m the lead developer over at CoosCreations.com

    We are proud to announce the launch of
    PulseMarketing.org – version 3!

    This is a long-term client of ours and the latest version of their web site uses JoomlArt’s JA Villadi template which we a re very pleased with!

    You can see that we’ve tweaked it a bit! 😀

    We brought the right-hand modules into the main body of the page, which meant playing with the ordering of the various module positions, added the FrontPage Slideshow from JoomlaWorks and I forget where the peely slider thingy in the top right hand corner came from, but that’s performing really well! 😎

    The bold colours from the orange, blue and green module positions have been removed in favour of a match with the other side and Tags from Phil Taylor which is having a GREAT impact on search engine performance!

    Virtuemart, DocMan and RokAccess also go into making it all gel together.

    On the back-end, Joomla Xplorer and Custom QuickIcons make everyone’s lives that little bit sweeter :-*

    If you like the look of the site and are impressed, please give us your response here and even consider contacting Pulse Marketing and telling them you like it too – after all, they put a huge amount of effort into making it happen (and paid for it!) :laugh:

    Thanks JoomlArt for a great way to get my design underway with JA Villadi!

    Thanks MiCCAS!

    I was hoping to submit it to the Site of the Month Competiton – if we won it would actually be our first ever award, so our fingers are tightly crossed!

    I’ve had a hunt around and can’t seem to find any information on it – can you tell me where I should be looking?

    :rolleyes:

    Nice site. The only thing I don’t like too much is the pagepeel. I think the pagepeel effect has already overdone a bit in the web and personally I associate it with cheap advertising and it is something I usually avoid to click on. As soon as I see a website with a pagepeel I usually don’t take it too serious due to the association with casino, poker, roulette and who know what else … 🙂
    Otherwise it is a neat and clean site.

    Oooh, good call bluecafe! I’d actually not come across it before, so thought it was quite novel – I had no idea that on-line gambling sites used it (I KNOW all I’d do is lose money if I went onto those site!)

    I think we’ll just make an initial use of it – until enough dealers get used to the new site – and then we’ll remove it altogether.

    Thanks again for your feedback – it’s really appreciated! 😀

    This is a quick reminder that the Site Of The Month Competition is now open and viting taking place.

    If you like what we’ve created here, please consider voting – we really want to win!

    Hi There,

    The website is very nice. Only in IE6 the left-column drops down below the body.

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    Oh no!

    I’ve seen this with JA templates I’ve used before also. Is this something I’m doing during implementation, or is it something that has been fixed already?

    Thanks for the feedback Peter 😉

    Hi,

    Probably it is, because IE6 does handle CSS different in some cases. What helped with some projects I did is to make the body some pixels smaller and the left column some pixels wider. I don’t know exactly anymore, but play a little around with this 2.

    But it can also be caused by the crappy Internet-solution we have here on my work ( via Citrix :(( with IE6 :eek:. ).

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

    Thanks Peter! I’ll have a play over the weekend!

    I’m not sure I even know what Citrix IS! Hahahaha! 😉

    You can try to change this:
    #ja-mainbody-fr #ja-content {
    float:right;
    width:75%;
    }
    You find it on line 1364
