Hello,

I am putting together a shopping site and so far am really liking this template and what it has to offer. I am pretty much following the settings from the user guide to set up my site until I get the hang of everything.

So far I have the Vintas template installed and Virtuemart. I have not installed K2 as I’m just too busy to learn another thing right now.

I have a couple of issues with module positions that are listed but don’t show. When installing virtuemart, most of the positions default to position-4. Well position-4 doesn’t show up anywhere??

I also have tried to use mega2 and that doesn’t seem to be showing up anywhere??

Am I doing something wrong or is there another step that needs to be taken for these to be active positions??

Hello krumz,

As you see in JA Vintas user guide. There are no “position-4” and “mega2” positions listed. You can view all used & empty module positions here http://joomla25-templates.joomlart.com/ja_vintas/?tp=1 and here http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-vintas-for-joomla-2-5-userguide-2/

You can add more position in “Default” layout in “Layouts” tab of Template Manager.

Hello Stork11,

I did notice that they are not showing when viewing the module positions (?tp=1) and not listed in the user manual (which I’m following) prior to posting but, say for instance, when I add a module and click the module position button and select my template – those two positions are listed.

If necessary, I can figure out and go in and add those positions (don’t know where there positions belong though especially the mega2) but I’m curious as to why they would be listed and why Virtuemart would default to position 4?

Me krumz again. I guess I am a little confused with these module positions because some are listed in the manual (such as mega1) that is also not a position listed in the template. And I am following the Vintas setup?
