April 7, 2013 at 1:32 am #186527I am using JA Vintas with Joomla 2.5.9. I am using the JA Extension Manager to upgrade the following extensions:
- com_jaextmanager
- JA Content Slider
- JA Login
- JA Twitter Module
- JA T3 Framework
While attempting the upgrade for each extension, I encounter the following error message:
Errors occured during upgrading, please fix them fist
MySQL path is not configed
MySQL Dump path is not configed
Local repository path is not configedI also attempted to upgrade each of these extensions using the extension manager and encounter the following messages:
Unknown Archive type
Update path does not exist
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
Unable to detect manifest fileand
Updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_ was successful.
How do I fix this issue?
Thanks,

Try to make in this way
Go to Ja_Extension Manager click on Configuration, you will see GENERAL SETTINGS with path for your local configuration click on Save on the top right
Clean your cache and try again to upgrade

This worked to upgrade the extensions using the JA Extension Manager. However, these items still show up in the core “Extension Manager: Update” section of the admin panel. Why would they still be showing up as an item requiring update if I updated them using the JA Extension Manager?
Thanks for the help

April 9, 2013 at 3:56 am #489264Because the default Joomla update service still cache the old info of JA Extesion, this is a known issue, you can get rid of this update message by following this guide: http://wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Extensions_Manager/How-to#Known_issues
See you around 🙂
